H. Royer Fourman, 89, died Thursday December 30, 2010 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville where he had resided for seven years. Royer was a former resident of the Arcanum area. Mr. Fourman was born February 6, 1921 in Twin Township to the late Cleveland and Jessie (Kearns) Fourman. He was a retired Twin Township farmer, a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, Arcanum, former Twin Township Trustee, active in the Gordon and Faith United Methodist Churches. He was a veteran of the Navy, WWII serving as a medic. Royer was preceded by first wife Dorothy (Hunter) Fourman, second wife Maxine Fasnaught Fourman, Daughter Jeannie Mills, and a Grandson Aaron Mills. He is survived by Daughter Nancy (John) Weisenbarger of Arcanum; Grandchildren Melissa (Todd) Orr of Arcanum, Steve (Cyndie) Weisenbarger of Bellbrook, Amy (Bryan) Wade of Vandalia, Jeremy (Kirsten) Mills of Arcanum; 7 Great Grandchildren Christie (Gavid) Rader, Brandon Orr, Gavin, Adam, and Isaac Mills, Kara and Devin Wade; 3 Step Children Linda (Jonathon) Wells, Bob (Carol) Fasnaught, and Jim Fasnaught; numerous Step Grand and Step Great Grandchildren; Sister Helen North of Arcanum and Sisters-in-law Verna Mae (Richard) Rhoades and Carol (Vance) McKinney. Funeral Services will be held Noon, Monday January 3, 2011 at the Faith United Methodist Church, Arcanum with Rev Tom Hite officiating. Burial will follow in Ithaca Cemetery.
