Wilma L. Musselman (January 16, 2011)

Wilma Louise Musselman, age 76 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 1:20 AM Sunday January 16, 2011 at the residence of her daughter Diana. Wilma was born January 16, 1935 in Greenville, Ohio and the daughter of the late Wilbur and Kathryn (Wills) Musselman/

Wilma had been employed for the US Postal Service, retiring from the the Piqua Post Office and had also worked at the Greenville, Hollansburg and New Madison Post Offices.

She was a member of the Greenville VFW Booster’s Club, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Eagles Lodge Ladies Auxiliary both of Greenville. She also enjoyed crocheting, making Rag Rugs and embroidering.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson US Army Specialist Eriel Luis Valdes; daughter Debbie Sue Sleppy; sisters Judy Timmons, Roberta Scheiding and Janet Sue Musselman.

She is survived by her sons and daughter in law Gregory Sleppy of Greenville, Terry and Glenna Sleppy of Bennett, Colorado and Randy Wayne Sleppy of Hollansburg. Daughters Diana “Dee” (Sleppy) Valdes of Greenville and Amber (Minnich) Profitt of Pitsburg, Ohio. Grandchildren Rene Sleppy, Joel Valdes, Cory Profitt, Brandy Profitt and Wyatt Sleppy. Great grandchild Rome Ezequiel Valdes. Brothers Charles Musselman of Greenville, James Musselman of Greenville, Delbert Musselman of Hillgrove and Gary Musselman of Hollansburg. Sisters and brothers in law Goldie White of Greenville, Phyllis and Robert Sherry of Greenville, Jenny Fields of Greenville, Cindy and Donald Ditty of Greenville and Bonnie and John Reed of Greenville. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday January 19, 2011 at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with the Rev. William Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Castine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 9 PM in the funeral home.

It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to Hospice of Darke County.
