Paul was a self employed farmer and was a member of the Eagles in Celina, Ohio, National Gun and Rifle Association, and St. Denis Catholic Church. Paul was an avid giver to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and really enjoyed Drag Racing.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emma and Fred Thobe; brothers, Gary L. “Jake” Marchal and Henry Marchal; an infant brother and sisters; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Kathy (Larry Back) Quinn of New Madison, Ohio, Robin (Rick) Thobe Plessinger of Union City, Ohio, Carla (Richard) Hollinger of New Madison, Ohio, and Linda Frazier of North Carolina; grandchildren, Lacy Plessinger, Nicole Burke, Scott Hollinger, Amber Plessinger, and Heather Brown; 6 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Virginia Rinderle of Versailles, Ann Link of Versailles, Evelyn “Margie” (Terry) Young of Russia, and Mary Lou (Chuck) Runner Thompson of Versailles; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, Ohio with Rev. Fr. John R. White celebrant. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Frenchtown, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 1-4 PM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio as well as on Monday from 9:30 – 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
